Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Upper Arlington, OH
The Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies because it sheds very little. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but you'd never guess it from their feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the cherry on top. For most families, a Yorkie fits right in. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near Upper Arlington, Ohio can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's the reason we take so much pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Upper Arlington. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go above and beyond the basics. We genetically test all of our adult dogs, and each one comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well cared for, and each has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies explore and play in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This helps with socialization and gives them plenty of exercise too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies is something we take seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. Our favorite part is making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has had their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam by the time they go home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Upper Arlington, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Upper Arlington the farm is 83 miles away, 1 to 3 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Upper Arlington, to , including Columbus OH, Lincoln Village OH, Grandview Heights OH, Marble Cliff OH, Valleyview OH, and Riverlea OH, or anywhere else in Franklin County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, and Rickenbacker International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
