Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Tucker, GA
Learn Why Yorkies Have Our Hearts
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies as they're often called, have a special place in our hearts. People with allergies are often pointed toward Yorkies, since their beautiful, long, silky coat sheds very little. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But underneath that attitude, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. On top of that, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. Yorkies fit right in with most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders can be hard to find in the Tucker, Georgia area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Tucker with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. Our mission is to help every family find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Why Our Puppies Are the Top Choice
We do things the right way at The Puppy House when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with a reputation for great temperaments. Every dog here gets great care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life, is part of every puppy's routine. Socialization is another big part of the process, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. In the backyard, our puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This time outside is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to come visit and pick out your puppy in person if you can. You'll be able to look around our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We put a lot of thought into placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has had their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam by the time they go home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Three Ways a Yorkie Puppy Gets From Sugarcreek to Tucker, Georgia
Ground delivery, $350. Georgia sits in our regional pricing tier, so home delivery is a flat $350 anywhere in the state. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary checkup before departure and updates from the road. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Tucker is 480 miles from the farm, and once route stops are figured in, most families here are holding their puppy within a couple of days. The van that serves Tucker also covers , including Mountain Park GA, Lilburn GA, Clarkston GA, Stone Mountain GA, and Pine Lake GA. This is the option we recommend for almost everyone in DeKalb County. There's no airport trip on either end, and for a four pound dog, a climate controlled van is a better ride than a car with a carrier on the back seat.
Flight nanny. If you want the puppy sooner, a trained handler flies with it in the cabin of a commercial flight, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, never in cargo. Most of these are finished the same day. From Tucker, the airports we would plan a handoff around are DeKalb Peachtree Airport, and Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound cabin limit with room to spare. We arrange the health certificate ahead of travel, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight.
Farm pickup. You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment. The drive up from Tucker runs 9 to 11 hours each way, and families sometimes make an overnight trip out of it. You see where the puppy has been raised. We go over the microchip registration, vaccination records, and the health guarantee in person. Once the round trip turns into two long days of driving, ground delivery starts making more sense than the gas.
Every puppy goes home with a bag of the food it has been eating. The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call once the puppy is reserved.
