Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Evans, GA
Learn Why We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. Yorkies may be small, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Even so, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the strong bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies fit right in with most families. There are very few responsible breeders across the country, so finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Evans, Georgia area can be difficult. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Evans. Our goal is for every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Stand Out
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. Our standards go much further than the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and enjoy plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Next comes socialization, another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our vaccinated adult dogs. This playtime is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies with families seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale to us. We love forming new friendships, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Three Ways a Yorkie Puppy Gets From Sugarcreek to Evans, Georgia
Ground delivery, $350. Georgia sits in our regional pricing tier, so home delivery is a flat $350 anywhere in the state. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary checkup before departure and updates from the road. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Evans is 481 miles from the farm, and once route stops are figured in, most families here are holding their puppy within a couple of days. The van that serves Evans also covers , including Martinez GA, Grovetown GA, Thomson GA, Washington GA, Harlem GA, Warrenton GA, Lincolnton GA, Appling GA, and Dearing GA. This is the option we recommend for almost everyone in Columbia County. There's no airport trip on either end, and for a four pound dog, a climate controlled van is a better ride than a car with a carrier on the back seat.
Flight nanny. If you want the puppy sooner, a trained handler flies with it in the cabin of a commercial flight, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, never in cargo. Most of these are finished the same day. From Evans, the airports we would plan a handoff around are Augusta Regional At Bush Field, and Columbia Metropolitan Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound cabin limit with room to spare. We arrange the health certificate ahead of travel, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight.
Farm pickup. You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment. The drive up from Evans runs 9 to 11 hours each way, and families sometimes make an overnight trip out of it. You see where the puppy has been raised. We go over the microchip registration, vaccination records, and the health guarantee in person. Once the round trip turns into two long days of driving, ground delivery starts making more sense than the gas.
Every puppy goes home with a bag of the food it has been eating. The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call once the puppy is reserved.
