Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Pittsfield, MI
Discover the Reasons We Adore Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Pittsfield, Michigan area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's the reason we take so much pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Pittsfield. We want each family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can trust.

Discover Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. Our standards reach well past the basics. We make sure all of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We take good care of our dogs and give them plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy we raise goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first weeks of life. Socialization matters just as much, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies explore and play in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This gives them great socialization and plenty of exercise at the same time.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, since to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has had their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam by the time they go home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Pittsfield, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Pittsfield mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Pittsfield it's 160 miles, which works out to 2 to 4 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Washtenaw County address pays the same whether it's in Pittsfield or out in , including Ann Arbor MI, Adrian MI, Ypsilanti MI, Saline MI, York MI, Tecumseh MI, Raisin MI, Milan MI, London MI, Manchester MI, Bridgewater MI, Ridgeway MI, Macon MI, and Britton MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Pittsfield families would meet the nanny at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
