Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Orion, MI
Find Out the Reasons We Love Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. The Yorkie's long, silky coat is beautiful and low-shedding, which makes the breed a common recommendation for people with allergies. They're small, usually weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. That said, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. They fit right in with most families. Locating reputable Yorkie breeders in the Orion, Michigan area can be challenging, as there are very few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we're so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Orion. Every family deserves a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. We go well beyond the basic standards. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for wonderful temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's wonderful socialization, and they get plenty of exercise too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. This way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We put a lot of thought into placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Orion, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Orion mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Orion it's 178 miles, which works out to 3 to 5 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Oakland County address pays the same whether it's in Orion or out in , including Lapeer MI, Addison MI, Oxford MI, Lake Orion MI, North Branch MI, Attica MI, and Metamora MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Orion families would meet the nanny at Bishop International Airport, and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
