Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Belleville, IL

Why Yorkies Have Our Hearts
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Yorkies are low-shedding dogs with long, beautiful, silky coats, and they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but you'd never guess it from their feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But what most people love is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Plus, they love cuddling and staying close all the time, which makes them even more special. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Responsible breeders are few and far between across the country, which makes finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Belleville, Illinois area a challenge. That's why we're proud to offer families in Belleville our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Discover What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. We give our dogs great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Next comes socialization, another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take every Yorkie placement seriously, and to us it's much more than a one-time sale. Our favorite part is making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before leaving for their new home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Belleville, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Belleville that's 8 to 10 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in St. Clair County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Belleville comes up 465 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including St. Clair IL, Stookey IL, Chester IL, Ste. Genevieve MO, Freeburg IL, Sparta IL, Millstadt IL, Smithton IL, Red Bud IL, Prairie Du Long IL, New Athens IL, Marissa IL, Fayetteville IL, Lenzburg IL, Coulterville IL, Tilden IL, and Evansville IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Belleville families are Scott AFB/Midamerica Airport, and St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
