Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Lombard, IL
Explore Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also called Yorkies, are especially close to our hearts at The Puppy House. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, yet they have a big-dog attitude that can be both feisty and bossy. But what most people love is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddles and being near you all the time is the icing on the cake. They tend to fit right in with most families. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near Lombard, Illinois can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. This is exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Lombard. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Lombard
Here's What Makes Our Puppies the Best
The Puppy House is dedicated to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for wonderful temperaments. Each dog in our care is well looked after and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
We put every puppy through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps our puppies build good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies play and explore outside in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home and our dogs for yourself and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies matters to us, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Lombard, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Lombard that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in DuPage County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Lombard comes up 345 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including and Villa Park IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Lombard families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
