Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Commerce, MI
The Reasons We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but you'd never guess it from their feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and being close by all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies fit right in with most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Commerce, Michigan area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Commerce with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. Our aim is to give every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold ourselves to a much higher standard than the basics. Our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and all of them are genetically tested. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of space for playing and socializing.
We start every puppy on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our vaccinated adult dogs. This gives them great socialization and plenty of exercise at the same time.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies with families seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale to us. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Commerce, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Commerce mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Commerce it's 173 miles, which works out to 2 to 4 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Oakland County address pays the same whether it's in Commerce or out in , including West Bloomfield MI, White Lake MI, Wixom MI, Walled Lake MI, Milford MI, and Wolverine Lake MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Commerce families would meet the nanny at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and Bishop International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
