Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Newark, OH
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies may be small, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. Their fondness for cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit right in with most families. Finding a trustworthy Yorkie breeder in the Newark, Ohio area isn't easy, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Newark. It matters to us that every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Newark
Learn What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Our standards go much further than the basics. All of our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and every one is genetically tested. We give our dogs great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. Socialization is another essential step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. Our puppies spend time in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs, playing and exploring together. This time outside is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
You're welcome to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Newark, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Newark the farm is 50 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, and Rickenbacker International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
