Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Rocky Mount, NC
See Why We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. Small as they are at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Then there's their love of cuddling and staying close all the time, which is the icing on the cake. They fit right in with most families. Because responsible breeders are so rare across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Rocky Mount, North Carolina area can be tough. That's why we take real pride in providing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Rocky Mount. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Special
At The Puppy House, we believe in doing things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go well beyond the basic standards. All the adult dogs in our program are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
In the first few weeks of life, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it keeps them active too.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before heading home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Rocky Mount, North Carolina by Road, Air, or Farm Pickup
Ground transport carries most North Carolina puppies home. It's the option we suggest first for Rocky Mount. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a vet check before it leaves and updates as it travels. North Carolina sits in our regional pricing tier, so the flat fee is $350, in Rocky Mount and in , including Wilson NC, Roanoke Rapids NC, Tarboro NC, Nashville NC, South Hill VA, Red Oak NC, South Rosemary NC, Enfield NC, Sharpsburg NC, Princeville NC, Scotland Neck NC, Weldon NC, Pinetops NC, Bracey VA, Gaston NC, Dortches NC, Garysburg NC, South Weldon NC, Rich Square NC, Warrenton NC, Woodland NC, Whitakers NC, Hollister NC, Littleton NC, La Crosse VA, Seaboard NC, and Gasburg VA alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 375 miles from the farm your address is an early stop on the route, which usually means the puppy is in your arms the following day rather than three days later.
Flight nanny is the faster choice and is quoted per flight rather than at a flat rate. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin the entire time, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, almost always the same day. The easiest arrivals for Edgecombe County families are Pitt-Greenville Airport, and Raleigh-Durham International Airport. A Yorkie makes this simple on the paperwork side, since the airline limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and an eight week old Yorkshire Terrier is nowhere near that. We arrange the health certificate before travel.
Farm pickup is the third option. The drive from Rocky Mount is 7 to 9 hours each way, and a fair number of North Carolina families treat it as a weekend. Come to Sugarcreek by appointment, meet the puppy where it grew up, and we go through vaccination records, microchip registration, and the guarantee at the kitchen table. You leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call after a puppy is reserved.
