Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Avon, IL
Why Yorkies Have Our Hearts
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat, and since they shed very little, they're often recommended for people with allergies. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what wins people's hearts is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The cherry on top is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They fit in well with most families. Finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Avon, Illinois area can be challenging, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Avon. Our goal is for every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Our standards go far beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. Every dog we have receives excellent care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. We let our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. This gives you a chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. For us, placing a Yorkie is a serious commitment and more than a one-time sale. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
