Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Town 'n' Country, FL

Learn Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. Small as they are at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. What really wins people over, though, is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit in well with most families. Because responsible breeders are so rare across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Town 'n' Country, Florida area can be tough. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Town 'n' Country. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Why Our Puppies Are a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go far beyond the minimum standards. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs get great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it keeps them active too.
We invite you to visit and choose your puppy in person whenever possible. It's a great chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We treat placing our Yorkies as more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before leaving for their new home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Getting Your Puppy From Sugarcreek to Town 'n' Country, Florida
Families are welcome to pick up in person at the farm by appointment. From Town 'n' Country that means 864 miles on the road and 16 to 18 hours of driving each way, a two day trip for most Floridians. The families who make it come for the visit as much as the puppy, since it's the one way to walk the property, meet the parent dogs, and go over the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Ground transport is what most Florida families use. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates along the way. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and Florida runs take two to three days depending on the route and the stops before yours. Florida falls in our regional pricing tier at a flat $350, which is the same fee we charge Pennsylvania and Georgia even though the drive is several times longer. That rate covers Town 'n' Country, , and any other address in Hillsborough County.
Flight nanny is the answer when you want the puppy home fast. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim. Most of these deliveries finish the same day. For Town 'n' Country, nannies fly into Tampa International Airport, and St. Petersburg Clearwater International Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, plus some flexibility on your end if weather pushes a flight. Cost is quoted per flight rather than by tier. The farther down the peninsula you are, the faster the driving miles pile up, and the extra money can buy back a full day.
Two things about this breed are worth knowing before travel day. A grown Yorkshire Terrier tops out around seven pounds, so the 20 pound in cabin limit is never a problem, and a puppy this small can dip low on blood sugar after a long day of travel. Small frequent meals in the first days home are the fix, and we go over that with you before your puppy leaves. If you're meeting a nanny at an airport in July, park close and get the carrier into air conditioning quickly rather than letting it sit in a hot garage.
