Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Macomb, MI
See the Reasons We Love Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. With their long, beautiful, silky coat and very little shedding, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. They're small, usually weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and always staying close is the icing on the cake. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Macomb, Michigan area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. For that reason, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Macomb. We want every family to have the chance to own a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See What Sets Our Puppies Apart
We breed and raise our Yorkies the right way here at The Puppy House. The bar we set for ourselves is well above the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We take good care of our dogs and give them plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy is given Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done early in life. Socialization is also an important step, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This helps with socialization and gives them plenty of exercise too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We're serious about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's more than a one-time sale. Making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes are all things we love.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Macomb, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Macomb mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Macomb it's 165 miles, which works out to 2 to 4 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Macomb County address pays the same whether it's in Macomb or out in , including Chesterfield MI, Ray MI, and Armada MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Macomb families would meet the nanny at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and Bishop International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
