Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Ponca City, OK
Learn the Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. They may be tiny, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. Even so, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the strong bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddles and being near you all the time is the icing on the cake. They tend to fit right in with most families. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near Ponca City, Oklahoma can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Ponca City is something we take great pride in. Our goal is to help every family bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Learn What Sets Our Puppies Apart
We breed and raise our Yorkies the right way here at The Puppy House. Our standards reach well past the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well looked after and has plenty of space to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another essential step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. Our puppies play and explore in the backyard alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it keeps them active too.
We'd love for you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies is something we take seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Ponca City, Oklahoma: Ways Home and What They Cost
Oklahoma sits in our national delivery tier at a flat $450 for ground transport, and the drive from Sugarcreek to Ponca City runs 873 miles, roughly 16 to 18 hours behind the wheel.
Ground home delivery
A professional pet transport service drives the puppy to your door in a custom climate controlled van, with its own carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates along the way. Vans leave on Tuesdays. For a city at this distance, expect the puppy to arrive within about two to three days of departure depending on the route. If you're outside Ponca City proper, the van also delivers to , including Enid OK, Arkansas City KS, Blackwell OK, Tonkawa OK, Newkirk OK, Creswell KS, Bolton KS, McCord OK, Fairfax OK, Caldwell KS, and South Haven KS and to rural Kay County addresses. Nothing about it involves an airport, which is the reason most families pick it.
Flight nanny
A trained handler flies with the puppy beside them in the cabin, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. Nanny flights are usually a one day affair. Ponca City families meet the flight at Stillwater Regional Airport, and Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under 20 pounds with the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier ever comes close to, and a health certificate is arranged before the flight. Pricing is per flight and sits above ground delivery.
Pickup in Sugarcreek
You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment, though at 16 to 18 hours of driving each way, very few Oklahoma families do. It's worth timing around a trip you were making anyway. You get to see where the puppy grew up and go over the records, microchip registration, and guarantee in person.
What we suggest for Ponca City
Ground delivery works for most families. It's the cheaper of the two, it puts the puppy at your front door, and two or three days on the road with a professional handler is easier on a four pound animal than most people expect. Choose the flight nanny if you want the puppy home in a single day. Either way the method, the timing, and the fee get settled on a call after the puppy is reserved.
