Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Faribault, MN
Explore the Reasons We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, often simply called Yorkies, are very close to our hearts. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But at heart, Yorkies win people over with their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The cherry on top is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They fit right in with most families. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Faribault, Minnesota area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. That's why we take real pride in providing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Faribault. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

The Reasons Our Puppies Are the Best
Here at The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards are set well above the minimum. Every adult dog in our program is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs get great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
We start every puppy on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Out in the backyard, our puppies play and explore alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.
We encourage you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies matters to us, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy receives their first set of shots and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting Your Puppy to Faribault, Minnesota
Ground transport is the common choice in Faribault. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a vet check before departure, and updates along the way. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 649 miles out, Faribault is a two to three day route. The fee is a flat $450 for Minnesota, which covers the whole trip whether you're in Faribault, in , including Mankato MN, Owatonna MN, Northfield MN, Waterville MN, Bridgewater MN, Kenyon MN, Dundas MN, Forest MN, Cannon City MN, Shieldsville MN, Walcott MN, Morristown MN, Erin MN, Warsaw MN, Wheeling MN, Iosco MN, and Blooming Grove MN, or elsewhere in Rice County.
Flight nanny is the faster option. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. For Faribault families, our flights land at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport / Wold–Chamberlain Field, and Rochester International Airport. Cabin travel has a twenty pound limit including the carrier, which a Yorkshire Terrier puppy clears with room to spare. Flights are quoted individually and cost more than ground. One thing worth planning around is that January and February weather in Minnesota can push a flight a day, so we ask families to keep a little flexibility in the schedule.
Pickup at the farm is open to anyone by appointment. From Faribault the drive is 12 to 14 hours, which means an overnight each way. Families who make the trip get to see the facility, meet the parents, and go over the health records and microchip registration in person. For most Minnesota buyers, ground transport is the sensible pick, with flight nanny worth the extra money if you're close to the airport and don't want to wait out the drive. Whichever way you go, we settle the method, the timing, and the fee on a phone call after the puppy is reserved. Call or text us at (330) 275-4443 if you want to walk through the options before choosing a puppy.
