See What We Adore About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, commonly known as Yorkies, hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at The Puppy House. The Yorkie's long, silky coat is beautiful and low-shedding, which makes the breed a common recommendation for people with allergies. Although they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. For most families, a Yorkie fits right in. There are very few responsible breeders across the country, so finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Watertown, New York area can be difficult. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Watertown. We want every family to find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Learn Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Our standards reach well past the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well cared for, and each has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy we raise goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first weeks of life. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies explore and play in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and they get lots of exercise along the way.
We invite you to visit and choose your puppy in person whenever possible. That way, you can see where your puppy was raised, spend time with our dogs, and meet us face to face. We treat placing our Yorkies as more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love forming new friendships, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before heading home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Watertown, New York
There are three ways to get your puppy home to Watertown, and we settle on one during a phone call after the deposit is in.
Farm pickup in Sugarcreek. New York is one of the states where driving out makes sense for a lot of families. From Watertown you're looking at 7 to 9 hours each way, 379 miles on the road. You get to see the facility, meet the parents, and go over the health records and microchip registration at the kitchen table. Visits are by appointment.
Ground delivery. A professional pet transport service drives your puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with updates along the way. New York is a flat $350. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and New York is an early stop on the eastern route, so most families here are holding their puppy the next day. That matters more than it sounds for this breed, since a Yorkshire Terrier has a single silky coat with no undercoat and not much defense against a cold February morning. The van stays temperature controlled the whole way. Around Jefferson County the driver also delivers to , including Le Ray NY, Fort Drum NY, Ogdensburg NY, Massena NY, Potsdam NY, Canton NY, Wilna NY, Norfolk NY, Oswegatchie NY, Champion NY, Lisbon NY, Alexandria NY, Gouverneur NY, Stockholm NY, Calcium NY, Hounsfield NY, Lowville NY, Ellisburg NY, Carthage NY, Louisville NY, Rutland NY, Pamelia NY, Denmark NY, Orleans NY, New Bremen NY, Pierrepont NY, Brasher NY, De Kalb NY, Fowler NY, Lyme NY, Parishville NY, West Carthage NY, Morristown NY, Clayton NY, Russell NY, Adams NY, Diana NY, Madrid NY, Norwood NY, Fine NY, Colton NY, Martinsburg NY, Adams Center NY, Sackets Harbor NY, Henderson NY, Black River NY, Hammond NY, Great Bend NY, Rodman NY, Philadelphia NY, Edwards NY, Brownville NY, De Peyster NY, Hermon NY, Hopkinton NY, Alexandria Bay NY, Dexter NY, Lorraine NY, Waddington NY, Macomb NY, La Fargeville NY, Hailesboro NY, Rossie NY, Brasher Falls NY, Pitcairn NY, Copenhagen NY, Theresa NY, Hannawa Falls NY, Clifton NY, Sandy Creek NY, Heuvelton NY, Cape Vincent NY, DeKalb Junction NY, Antwerp NY, Redwood NY, Star Lake NY, Croghan NY, Chaumont NY, Redfield NY, Boylston NY, Evans Mills NY, and Lacona NY, and the whole arrangement suits anyone who would rather not deal with an airport.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin, under the seat in an airline approved soft carrier, and never in cargo. Most flights are done same day. For Watertown, we meet families at baggage claim at Watertown International Airport, and Ogdensburg International Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound carrier limit without any trouble at four to seven pounds, so the breed is about as easy as it gets on a plane. We arrange the health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old. Cost runs above ground delivery and is quoted per flight.
What we suggest for Watertown. If 7 to 9 hours each way is a day you can spare, come get the puppy yourself. It's a pretty drive. You'll learn more in an hour at the farm than in a dozen text messages. If that's more road than you want, ground delivery at $350 is the sensible choice. Flight nanny is for families who want the puppy in their arms in a matter of hours.
