Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Alton, IL
Why We Adore Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family that really win people over. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the cherry on top. They quickly become part of most families. Families in the Alton, Illinois area often find it challenging to locate a reputable Yorkie breeder, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Alton. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

See Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. The bar we set for ourselves is well above the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, laying the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies enjoy playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's wonderful socialization, and they get plenty of exercise too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. You'll be able to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, since to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends and keeping in touch so we can watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.

Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand.
