Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Florence, AZ

Learn Why We're So Fond of Yorkies
Here at The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Even though they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. On top of that, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They fit easily into most families. Since there are so few responsible breeders across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Florence, Arizona area can be challenging. That's why we're proud to offer families in Florence our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

Why Choose One of Our Puppies
Here at The Puppy House, we breed and raise our Yorkies the right way. We aim much higher than the basics. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to run, play, and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important piece, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for their social skills, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going to their new home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy to Florence, Arizona
There are three ways to bring a puppy home to Florence, and we settle on one by phone after the puppy is reserved rather than at checkout.
Flight nanny. For Florence this is usually the one we point families toward. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin of a commercial flight, under the seat in an airline approved soft carrier, never in cargo. Most of these trips finish the same day. A Yorkshire Terrier weighs four to seven pounds full grown, so a puppy plus carrier sits far under the 20 pound cabin limit, which makes this breed one of the easiest to fly. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old and have a health certificate from a licensed vet, both of which we arrange. For Pinal County families, nannies fly into Mesa Gateway Airport, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. Pricing is quoted per flight since it follows airfare.
Home delivery by ground. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a pre trip vet check, and updates along the way. Arizona falls in our national tier at a flat $450, and that's the price in Florence as well as in , including Coolidge AZ, Globe AZ, San Carlos AZ, Superior AZ, Central Heights-Midland City AZ, Kearny AZ, Miami AZ, Peridot AZ, Canyon Day AZ, Six Shooter Canyon AZ, Claypool AZ, Seven Mile AZ, Cactus Forest AZ, East Fork AZ, and Hayden AZ. Transports leave on Tuesdays, and with 1716 miles of road between the farm and your door, the run usually takes two to three days depending on the route. The van stays cool the whole way, which matters more here than almost anywhere.
Pickup in Sugarcreek. You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment. It's 33 to 35 hours of driving from Florence, so nobody does it as a simple errand, but a few families build it into a trip east and like walking the property and going through the health records at the kitchen table.
There's one Arizona specific thing to plan for. Yorkie puppies can drop low on blood sugar after a stressful day of travel, so plan on a small meal soon after the handoff and a few more that first day, and keep water in front of the puppy. Between the desert heat and dry air, that first evening at home should be quiet and indoors.
