Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in West Springfield, MA
Find Out What We Adore About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, commonly known as Yorkies, hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at The Puppy House. This breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies because it sheds very little. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. They're a great match for most families. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the West Springfield, Massachusetts area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. That's why we're so proud to provide families in West Springfield with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We want each family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can trust.

Discover Why Our Puppies Are the Best
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, The Puppy House does things the right way. Our standards are set well above the minimum. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and enjoy plenty of room to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. This gives you a chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies with families seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale to us. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to West Springfield, Massachusetts
There are three ways home, and for most families in West Springfield the choice comes down to the first two.
Ground delivery is what we recommend for Massachusetts. A professional transport service drives your puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a pre transport vet check, and updates along the way. The fee is a flat $350 for Massachusetts, in West Springfield and in , including Chicopee MA, and Westfield MA alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and East Coast routes usually run next day, so most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure. Door to door matters more here than people expect, because it means nobody in Hampden County is circling an airport for parking or timing a drive around summer traffic.
Flight nanny is the fastest option. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, and hands the puppy over at baggage claim. Most are over inside a single day. For West Springfield, the arrival airports we work with are Bradley International Airport, and Worcester Regional Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under twenty pounds with the carrier, and traveling with a vet issued health certificate, which is never a problem for a Yorkie. Flight nanny costs more than ground and is quoted per flight.
Farm pickup is open to anyone willing to make the drive. West Springfield is 480 miles from Sugarcreek, and 9 to 11 hours each way turns it into a full weekend. Some Massachusetts families do it anyway because they want to see where the puppy was raised and go through the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. You'd head home with a small bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter. We settle the method, the timing, and the fee on a call rather than at checkout.
