See Why We Adore Yorkies

Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. The breed's long, silky coat is beautiful and sheds very little, so Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. Even though most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they often act like big dogs, with an attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying right by your side is the icing on the cake. They're well suited to most families. With so few responsible breeders across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Morrisville, North Carolina area can be a challenge. That's why we're proud to offer families in Morrisville our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We believe every family deserves access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Special

At The Puppy House, we believe in doing things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold ourselves to standards that go well beyond the basics. All the adult dogs in our program are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog we have receives excellent care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.

Each puppy completes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is also an important step, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. Our pups play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and they get lots of exercise along the way.

If you can make the trip, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies matters to us, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, staying in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.

Every puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going to their new home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

Puppy Delivery to Morrisville, North Carolina by Road, Air, or Farm Pickup

Ground transport carries most North Carolina puppies home. It's the option we suggest first for Morrisville. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a vet check before it leaves and updates as it travels. North Carolina sits in our regional pricing tier, so the flat fee is $350, in Morrisville and in alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 356 miles from the farm your address is an early stop on the route, which usually means the puppy is in your arms the following day rather than three days later.

Flight nanny is the faster choice and is quoted per flight rather than at a flat rate. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin the entire time, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, almost always the same day. The easiest arrivals for Durham County families are Raleigh-Durham International Airport, and Fayetteville Regional Airport - Grannis Field. A Yorkie makes this simple on the paperwork side, since the airline limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and an eight week old Yorkshire Terrier is nowhere near that. We arrange the health certificate before travel.

Farm pickup is the third option. The drive from Morrisville is 6 to 8 hours each way, and a fair number of North Carolina families treat it as a weekend. Come to Sugarcreek by appointment, meet the puppy where it grew up, and we go through vaccination records, microchip registration, and the guarantee at the kitchen table. You leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.

The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call after a puppy is reserved.
