Learn What We Adore About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, commonly known as Yorkies, hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at The Puppy House. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, what wins most people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies make a wonderful fit for most families. Given how few responsible breeders there are across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Eagle, Idaho area can be difficult. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Eagle. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

Find Out Why Our Puppies Are the Best
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, The Puppy House does things the right way. Our standards go well past the bare minimum. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is just as important, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. We let our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's a fun way for them to get exercise too.
If it works for you, we invite you to visit and pick out your puppy in person. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We enjoy gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Eagle, Idaho
Farm pickup is always an option and visits are welcome by appointment, but Eagle is 1781 miles from Sugarcreek and the drive runs 35 to 37 hours one way, so very few families take it. If you happen to be traveling through Ohio anyway, we're glad to have you out to walk the property and go over the health records, the microchip registration, and the guarantee in person.
Ground transport is the option most of the country uses. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Idaho falls in the national delivery tier at a flat $450, the same in Eagle as in , including Meridian ID, Emmett ID, McCall ID, Hidden Springs ID, Cascade ID, Council ID, Horseshoe Bend ID, and New Meadows ID, and western routes need two to three days on the road, so plan on a puppy in your arms toward the end of that week rather than on a fixed date.
Flight nanny is the faster answer, and for Eagle it's the one we usually suggest. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, sends photos and video through the trip, and meets you at baggage claim. Most trips finish the same day. For families in Ada County, the practical arrival airports are Boise Air Terminal/Gowen Field, and McCall Municipal Airport. Flight nanny is quoted per flight rather than by tier, and the price follows the route.
A Yorkshire Terrier makes this easy on the requirements side. The cabin limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and a Yorkie puppy is nowhere near it, so the conditions are that the puppy be at least eight weeks old, carry a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, and that you have some flexibility if weather closes a runway. Winter storms across the mountain passes can move a flight or slow a van, and we would rather delay a day than push a small puppy through bad conditions. Whichever way you choose, the method, timing, and fee all get settled on a phone call once the puppy is reserved.
