Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Cheltenham, PA
Discover the Reasons We Adore Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But at heart, Yorkies win people over with their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddles and being near you all the time is the icing on the cake. They're a great match for most families. With so few responsible breeders across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Cheltenham, Pennsylvania area can be a challenge. This is why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Cheltenham. Our goal is to help every family bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Discover Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. We set our standards well above the basics. All the adult dogs in our program are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has lots of room to play and be social.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another essential step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. Our puppies play and explore in the backyard alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you're able to, we'd love for you to visit and choose your puppy in person. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We're careful about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's always more than a one-time sale. We enjoy gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Cheltenham, Pennsylvania
Every puppy leaves from Sugarcreek, and there are three ways to get one home to Cheltenham.
Farm pickup. You drive to us by appointment and take your puppy home the same day. From Cheltenham that's 343 miles, about 6 to 8 hours each way. Visiting lets you see where your puppy was raised, meet us, and go over the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. When the drive is short enough to do in a day, this is the option we point Pennsylvania families toward first.
Home delivery by ground. A professional transport service drives your puppy to your door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Pennsylvania sits in our regional tier, a flat $350. Transports leave on Tuesdays, and Pennsylvania destinations are usually next day arrivals, so Montgomery County families, whether in Cheltenham or in , including Abington PA, Glenside PA, Wyndmoor PA, Wyncote PA, and Arcadia University PA, have their puppy within a day of departure. This is the most popular choice statewide and the one we recommend whenever the drive to us is more than you want to take on.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are completed in a single day. For Cheltenham, the options are Philadelphia International Airport, and Trenton Mercer Airport. Flight nanny is quoted per flight and costs more than ground, and it needs a puppy at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds with the carrier, a health certificate, and some flexibility if weather pushes the schedule. A Yorkie is nowhere near that weight limit, so the carrier requirement is never an issue for this breed.
Your puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating. Whichever method you pick, the timing and the fee get confirmed on a call rather than at checkout.
