Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Gainesville, GA
Learn Why We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed has a beautiful, long, silky coat and sheds very little, which is why it's often recommended for people with allergies. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. What really wins people over, though, is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit easily into most families. Given how few responsible breeders there are across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Gainesville, Georgia area can be difficult. That's what makes us so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Gainesville. Our mission is to help every family find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Stand Out
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. Our standards go well past the bare minimum. All of our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and every one is genetically tested. Every one of our dogs is well cared for, and each has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Our puppies each go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Out in the backyard, our puppies play and explore alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
You're invited to visit us and choose your puppy in person if you can. This way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We treat placing our Yorkies as more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has had their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam by the time they go home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Three Ways a Yorkie Puppy Gets From Sugarcreek to Gainesville, Georgia
Ground delivery, $350. Georgia sits in our regional pricing tier, so home delivery is a flat $350 anywhere in the state. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary checkup before departure and updates from the road. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Gainesville is 444 miles from the farm, and once route stops are figured in, most families here are holding their puppy within a couple of days. The van that serves Gainesville also covers , including Athens GA, Braselton GA, Toccoa GA, Dahlonega GA, Cornelia GA, Oakwood GA, Cleveland GA, Baldwin GA, Dawsonville GA, Lula GA, Raoul GA, Hoschton GA, Maysville GA, Demorest GA, Clayton GA, Clarkesville GA, Young Harris GA, Mount Airy GA, Homer GA, Alto GA, Mountain City GA, Clermont GA, Hiawassee GA, Blairsville GA, Pendergrass GA, and Helen GA. This is the option we recommend for almost everyone in Hall County. There's no airport trip on either end, and for a four pound dog, a climate controlled van is a better ride than a car with a carrier on the back seat.
Flight nanny. If you want the puppy sooner, a trained handler flies with it in the cabin of a commercial flight, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, never in cargo. Most of these are finished the same day. From Gainesville, the airports we would plan a handoff around are DeKalb Peachtree Airport, and Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound cabin limit with room to spare. We arrange the health certificate ahead of travel, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight.
Farm pickup. You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment. The drive up from Gainesville runs 8 to 10 hours each way, and families sometimes make an overnight trip out of it. You see where the puppy has been raised. We go over the microchip registration, vaccination records, and the health guarantee in person. Once the round trip turns into two long days of driving, ground delivery starts making more sense than the gas.
Every puppy goes home with a bag of the food it has been eating. The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call once the puppy is reserved.
