Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Hattiesburg, MS
See Why We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. This breed has a beautiful, long, silky coat and sheds very little, which is why it's often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies usually tip the scales at 7 pounds or less, yet they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They fit in well with most families. Finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi area can be challenging, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Hattiesburg. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Hattiesburg
Why Our Puppies Are Second to None
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. Our standards go well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for, with plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. We let our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's excellent socialization, and it gives them lots of exercise as well.
We invite you to stop by and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can meet us face to face and see our home and our dogs. Placing our Yorkies in new homes is something we take seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale for us. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and is checked thoroughly by a veterinarian. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
What Delivery to Hattiesburg, Mississippi Looks Like
Ground delivery to your door
This runs a flat $350 to any address in the state, and it is what most Hattiesburg families use. Professional transport drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with updates along the way. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Most families have their puppy within about three days of departure, and with 766 miles to cover, Hattiesburg usually lands at the two to three day end of that. Out your way the van also delivers to , including Laurel MS, Petal MS, West Hattiesburg MS, Columbia MS, Ellisville MS, Wiggins MS, Poplarville MS, Collins MS, Purvis MS, Lumberton MS, Glendale MS, Arnold Line MS, Sumrall MS, Bay Springs MS, Sharon MS, Taylorsville MS, Rawls Springs MS, Richton MS, Prentiss MS, Mount Olive MS, Beaumont MS, Sandersville MS, and New Augusta MS, and nothing changes for an address elsewhere in Forrest County. The air conditioning matters more on this route than on most, since a four to seven pound dog has very little margin in July. Each puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating and a blanket that smells like its littermates.
Flight nanny to an airport near Hattiesburg
A trained handler keeps the puppy in the cabin, never cargo, and passes it to you at baggage claim. Most of these are finished in a single day. Hattiesburg families would meet the flight at Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport, and Gulfport Biloxi International Airport. Cost is quoted per flight and runs above ground transport. We arrange a veterinary health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which is not a limit a Yorkie will ever come near.
Picking the puppy up in Sugarcreek
You're welcome at the farm by appointment. From Hattiesburg that's 14 to 16 hours each way, a two day trip for most people, though it does let you see where the puppy was raised, meet the parent dogs and go through the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Which option fits Hattiesburg
Ground transport is the sensible default almost everywhere in Mississippi, and that includes Hattiesburg. If you would rather have the puppy home the same day, a flight nanny is worth pricing out. A few families do make the trip up to the farm, and they're always welcome.
