Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Haverford, PA
Here's Why We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, the Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts. Their coat is long, silky, and beautiful, and because it sheds very little, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what wins people's hearts is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The cherry on top is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They quickly become part of most families. Given how few responsible breeders there are across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Haverford, Pennsylvania area can be difficult. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Haverford. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can truly count on.

See Why Our Puppies Stand Out
The Puppy House is dedicated to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Our standards go far beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog we have receives excellent care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy is given Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done early in life. Socialization is another important piece, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.
If it works for you, we invite you to visit and pick out your puppy in person. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. For us, placing a Yorkie is a serious commitment and more than a one-time sale. Our favorite part is making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has had their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam by the time they go home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Haverford, Pennsylvania
Every puppy leaves from Sugarcreek, and there are three ways to get one home to Haverford.
Farm pickup. You drive to us by appointment and take your puppy home the same day. From Haverford that's 335 miles, about 6 to 8 hours each way. Visiting lets you see where your puppy was raised, meet us, and go over the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. When the drive is short enough to do in a day, this is the option we point Pennsylvania families toward first.
Home delivery by ground. A professional transport service drives your puppy to your door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Pennsylvania sits in our regional tier, a flat $350. Transports leave on Tuesdays, and Pennsylvania destinations are usually next day arrivals, so Delaware County families, whether in Haverford or in , including Lower Merion PA, Radnor PA, Ardmore PA, Bryn Mawr PA, and Haverford College PA, have their puppy within a day of departure. This is the most popular choice statewide and the one we recommend whenever the drive to us is more than you want to take on.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are completed in a single day. For Haverford, the options are Philadelphia International Airport, and Wilmington Airport. Flight nanny is quoted per flight and costs more than ground, and it needs a puppy at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds with the carrier, a health certificate, and some flexibility if weather pushes the schedule. A Yorkie is nowhere near that weight limit, so the carrier requirement is never an issue for this breed.
Your puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating. Whichever method you pick, the timing and the fee get confirmed on a call rather than at checkout.
