Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Aspen Hill, MD
Find Out What We Adore About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, commonly known as Yorkies, hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, yet they have a big-dog attitude that can be both feisty and bossy. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and being close by all the time is the icing on the cake. They settle in easily with most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Aspen Hill, Maryland area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. That's why we're so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Aspen Hill. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.

Discover Why Our Puppies Are the Best
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, The Puppy House does things the right way. The bar we set for ourselves is well above the basics. We genetically test all of our adult dogs, and each one comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another big part of the process, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. That playtime is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
Whenever possible, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love meeting new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Three Ways to Bring a Yorkie Puppy Home to Aspen Hill, Maryland
Picking up at the farm
You're welcome to come get your puppy in person by appointment. From Aspen Hill the run out to Sugarcreek is 261 miles and 4 to 6 hours each way, and plenty of Maryland families do it to see where the puppy grew up. Pickups include the health records, microchip paperwork, and guarantee gone over at the kitchen table, plus a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Ground delivery to your door
Ground is where most Maryland families end up. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van with its own carrier, a vet check before departure, and updates along the way. Maryland sits in our regional tier, so the fee is a flat $350. Transport leaves on Tuesdays and East Coast stops are usually next day, so a puppy that departs Tuesday morning is often in Montgomery County by Wednesday. The same stop covers , including Wheaton MD, Olney MD, Leisure World MD, and Layhill MD.
Flight nanny
A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. Most flight nanny deliveries finish the same day. The practical airports for Aspen Hill are Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and Washington Dulles International Airport. Flights are quoted individually and cost more than ground, and every nanny trip needs a veterinarian health certificate and some flexibility if weather moves things around. Weight is never the problem with this breed on a flight, since the cabin limit is twenty pounds including the carrier and a Yorkie puppy is nowhere near that.
For most of the state we suggest ground delivery. The distance is short enough that the puppy is only on the road one night, and it saves you an airport trip. If 4 to 6 hours each way sounds like a comfortable day to you, pickup is worth the drive.
