Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Novi, MI
Find Out the Reasons We Love Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, yet they have a big-dog attitude that can be both feisty and bossy. But their sweet temperament and the deep bond they create with their family are what win people over. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. Locating reputable Yorkie breeders in the Novi, Michigan area can be challenging, as there are very few responsible breeders across the country. This is why we're so proud to offer carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Novi. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.

Discover Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. Our standards are much higher than what's required. Our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and all of them are genetically tested. Our dogs are well cared for, with plenty of room to play and socialize.
During their first few weeks, our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Socialization is another important piece, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
You're welcome to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. For us, placing a Yorkie is a serious commitment and more than a one-time sale. We love gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy is given their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Novi, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Novi mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Novi it's 167 miles, which works out to 2 to 4 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Oakland County address pays the same whether it's in Novi or out in , including Farmington Hills MI, Northville MI, and Lyon MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Novi families would meet the nanny at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and Bishop International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
