Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in West Bloomfield, MI
Here's Why We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, the Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. Small as they are at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what wins people's hearts is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. In the West Bloomfield, Michigan area, reputable Yorkie breeders can be tough to find, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in West Bloomfield is something we take great pride in. We want every family to find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See Why Our Puppies Stand Out
The Puppy House is dedicated to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Our standards are much higher than what's required. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
Our puppies each go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important piece, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. We let our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This gives them great socialization and plenty of exercise at the same time.
Whenever possible, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies matters to us, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Our puppies receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to West Bloomfield, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for West Bloomfield mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From West Bloomfield it's 170 miles, which works out to 2 to 4 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Oakland County address pays the same whether it's in West Bloomfield or out in , including Commerce MI, Keego Harbor MI, and Orchard Lake Village MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. West Bloomfield families would meet the nanny at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and Bishop International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
