Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Sammamish, WA
See Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet temperament and the deep bond they create with their family are what win people over. Even better, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. For most families, a Yorkie fits right in. Searching for a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Sammamish, Washington area can be challenging, given how few responsible breeders there are nationwide. This is exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Sammamish. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can truly count on.

Why Our Puppies Are a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well looked after and has plenty of space to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another essential step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as puppies grow. They spend time in the backyard playing and exploring with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. That playtime is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. This way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, staying in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before heading home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Sammamish, Washington: Flight Nanny, Ground Transport, and Farm Pickup
Flight nanny. Almost every Washington family gets this recommendation from us, and Sammamish is no exception. A trained handler carries the puppy in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy over at baggage claim. Same day arrival is the norm. Families in King County fly puppies into King County International Airport - Boeing Field, and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkie comes close to, and travel with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. Flight nanny costs more than ground transport and is quoted per flight, since the price follows the airfare.
Ground transport. A professional service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van with an individual carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates along the way. The flat fee to Washington is $450, in Sammamish and in , including Redmond WA, Issaquah WA, and Union Hill-Novelty Hill WA alike. Transport leaves Ohio on Tuesdays, and the drive to Sammamish is 2043 miles, so plan on two to three days on the road. It costs less than flying and skips the airport trip entirely, which some families prefer even at the longer travel time.
Farm pickup. Collecting the puppy here yourself is welcome, by appointment. It's 40 to 42 hours one way from Sammamish, but a few families build it into a wider drive or a visit with relatives. Coming here means meeting the puppy where it grew up and going through the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee in person.
Feed small meals often for the first few days after arrival. Toy breed puppies can drop their blood sugar after a long travel day, and frequent little meals are the simple prevention. Whichever method suits you, we settle the timing and the fee on the phone rather than at checkout.
