Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Elgin, IL
Learn the Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, yet they have a big-dog attitude that can be both feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the close bond they build with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the cherry on top. They usually fit right in with most families. Given how few responsible breeders there are across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Elgin, Illinois area can be difficult. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Elgin. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Learn What Sets Our Puppies Apart
We breed and raise our Yorkies the right way here at The Puppy House. For us, the basics are only the starting point. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We take good care of our dogs and give them plenty of room to play and socialize.
We put every puppy through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs, playing and exploring together. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We're careful about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's always more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Elgin comes up 364 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including and South Elgin IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date.
