Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in East Los Angeles, CA

Discover Why Yorkies Mean So Much to Us
Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies as most people call them, are near and dear to our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. While most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. They slip right into family life in most homes. Because responsible breeders are so rare across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the East Los Angeles, California area can be tough. This is why we're so proud to offer carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in East Los Angeles. We want every family to enjoy a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Why Our Yorkie Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we pride ourselves on breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Our standards reach well past the basics. Every adult dog we own is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
In the first few weeks of life, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Socialization is another important step in helping our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. We let our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you can, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. You'll be able to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of shots and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to East Los Angeles, California: Costs, Timing, and Airports
There are three ways home, and for East Los Angeles the choice is usually between the last two.
Farm pickup. Families are welcome in Sugarcreek by appointment. Driving it from East Los Angeles means 2043 miles and 40 to 42 hours behind the wheel in each direction, so the families who visit nearly always fly into Cleveland or Columbus and drive about an hour and a half out into Tuscarawas County. That only makes sense if you were coming east anyway. When it does work out, you see the property, meet the parents where possible, and we go through the vaccination records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. The puppy leaves with a bag of the food it has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Ground transport. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates from the road. The fee to California is a flat $450, whether the address is in East Los Angeles or in , including Los Angeles CA, and Commerce CA. Vans leave on Tuesdays, and the West Coast run takes two to three days depending on the route, so treat any arrival window as approximate until it's confirmed by phone.
Flight nanny. This is the one we usually recommend for East Los Angeles. A trained handler keeps the puppy in the cabin beside them for the whole flight, never in cargo, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, and sends photos and video along the way. Most of these deliveries finish in a single day. Because California sits three hours behind Ohio, a morning departure often means an early afternoon handoff your time, and that handoff happens at baggage claim rather than at the gate. Los Angeles County families meet their nanny at Jack Northrop Field Hawthorne Municipal Airport, and Long Beach International Airport. Flight nanny costs more than ground and is quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, needs a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, and needs to weigh under 20 pounds including the carrier. A Yorkshire Terrier puppy at two or three pounds isn't close to that limit, which is part of why the breed travels so well in the cabin.
Timing matters more in California than it does most places. For a midsummer arrival in East Los Angeles we aim for early in the day and ask you to have the car cool and a water bowl ready. Toy breed puppies also run their blood sugar down on a travel day, so a small meal soon after you get home matters more than it would with a bigger dog.
