Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Norman, OK
Learn the Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed's gorgeous, long, silky coat sheds very little, so it's often suggested for people with allergies. Although they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. For most families, a Yorkie fits right in. Reputable Yorkie breeders can be hard to find in the Norman, Oklahoma area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Norman. We want to make sure every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Learn What Sets Our Puppies Apart
We breed and raise our Yorkies the right way here at The Puppy House. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each dog in our care is well looked after and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. The puppies play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it keeps them active too.
We invite you to visit and choose your puppy in person whenever possible. While you're here, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. Our favorite part is making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Norman, Oklahoma: Ways Home and What They Cost
Oklahoma sits in our national delivery tier at a flat $450 for ground transport, and the drive from Sugarcreek to Norman runs 934 miles, roughly 18 to 20 hours behind the wheel.
Ground home delivery
A professional pet transport service drives the puppy to your door in a custom climate controlled van, with its own carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates along the way. Vans leave on Tuesdays. For a city at this distance, expect the puppy to arrive within about two to three days of departure depending on the route. If you're outside Norman proper, the van also delivers to , including Blanchard OK, Noble OK, Purcell OK, Pauls Valley OK, Slaughterville OK, Lindsay OK, Goldsby OK, Lexington OK, Maysville OK, Dibble OK, Wayne OK, Paoli OK, Washington OK, and Cole OK and to rural Cleveland County addresses. Nothing about it involves an airport, which is the reason most families pick it.
Flight nanny
A trained handler flies with the puppy beside them in the cabin, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. Nanny flights are usually a one day affair. Norman families meet the flight at OKC Will Rogers World Airport, and Stillwater Regional Airport. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under 20 pounds with the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier ever comes close to, and a health certificate is arranged before the flight. Pricing is per flight and sits above ground delivery.
Pickup in Sugarcreek
You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment, though at 18 to 20 hours of driving each way, very few Oklahoma families do. It's worth timing around a trip you were making anyway. You get to see where the puppy grew up and go over the records, microchip registration, and guarantee in person.
What we suggest for Norman
Ground delivery works for most families. It's the cheaper of the two, it puts the puppy at your front door, and two or three days on the road with a professional handler is easier on a four pound animal than most people expect. Choose the flight nanny if you want the puppy home in a single day. Either way the method, the timing, and the fee get settled on a call after the puppy is reserved.
