Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Toledo, OH
The Reasons We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. Yorkies may be small, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Then there's their love of cuddling and staying close all the time, which is the icing on the cake. They slip right into family life in most homes. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Toledo, Ohio area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Toledo with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. Our goal is to help every family bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Toledo
See What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold ourselves to a much higher standard than the basics. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We take good care of our dogs and give them plenty of room to play and socialize.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life, is part of every puppy's routine. Socialization is another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
Whenever possible, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Toledo, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Toledo the farm is 129 miles away, 2 to 4 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport, and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
