Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Miami, FL

Find Out Why We Love Yorkshire Terriers
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, are a breed we really love at The Puppy House. Yorkies are low-shedding dogs with long, beautiful, silky coats, and they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, yet they have a big-dog attitude that can be both feisty and bossy. But the real reason people fall for Yorkies is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit easily into most families. Finding a trustworthy Yorkie breeder in the Miami, Florida area isn't easy, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Miami. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

Discover Why Our Yorkie Puppies Are the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way matters to us at The Puppy House. Our standards go much further than the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for their great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our pups play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's wonderful socialization, and they get plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to come visit and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see where your puppy was raised, spend time with our dogs, and meet us face to face. Every Yorkie we place matters to us, and it's never just a one-time sale. We love meeting new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough exam from a veterinarian before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Getting Your Puppy From Sugarcreek to Miami, Florida
Families are welcome to pick up in person at the farm by appointment. From Miami that means 1020 miles on the road and 19 to 21 hours of driving each way, a two day trip for most Floridians. The families who make it come for the visit as much as the puppy, since it's the one way to walk the property, meet the parent dogs, and go over the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Ground transport is what most Florida families use. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates along the way. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and Florida runs take two to three days depending on the route and the stops before yours. Florida falls in our regional pricing tier at a flat $350, which is the same fee we charge Pennsylvania and Georgia even though the drive is several times longer. That rate covers Miami, , including Miami Beach FL, and Key Biscayne FL, and any other address in Miami-Dade County.
Flight nanny is the answer when you want the puppy home fast. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim. Most of these deliveries finish the same day. For Miami, nannies fly into Miami International Airport, and Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, plus some flexibility on your end if weather pushes a flight. Cost is quoted per flight rather than by tier. The farther down the peninsula you are, the faster the driving miles pile up, and the extra money can buy back a full day.
Two things about this breed are worth knowing before travel day. A grown Yorkshire Terrier tops out around seven pounds, so the 20 pound in cabin limit is never a problem, and a puppy this small can dip low on blood sugar after a long day of travel. Small frequent meals in the first days home are the fix, and we go over that with you before your puppy leaves. If you're meeting a nanny at an airport in July, park close and get the carrier into air conditioning quickly rather than letting it sit in a hot garage.
