Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Washington, DC
Get to Know Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also called Yorkies, are especially close to our hearts at The Puppy House. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. Although Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. Their love of cuddles and being near you all the time is the icing on the cake. They're well suited to most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Washington, District of Columbia area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Washington. We want every family to have the chance to own a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Here's Why Our Puppies Are the Best
The Puppy House is dedicated to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We go above and beyond the basics. We genetically test all of our adult dogs, and each one comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has lots of room to play and be social.
Our puppies each go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
We encourage you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. This way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love meeting new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
